Heard of ChatGPT? What about BunnyGPT? Second Life residents who are geeks for artificial intelligence like am will be thrilled to learn that Scribzy, the genius scripting co-owner of Moon Bunny Inc, recently brought ChatGPT inworld. We’re still in the testing phase but right now the AI is communicating through a bunny avatar at our Moon Bunny shop. It was only right we dubbed him “BunnyGPT.”
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence developed by OpenAI. It was launched in November 2022 and is changing the face of AI as we know it. You might have read in the news about students using ChatGPT to write term papers. Well, BunnyGPT won’t be doing any of that due to word limits in Second Life, but you can still talk to it about almost anything, so long as it’s appropriate. No sexy talk. (Sorry guys!)
Sometimes BunnyGPT gets things wrong. Occasionally the answers are biased since it responds based on the content its developers trained it on. It’s still great though and understands what I say better than a lot of people do.
At the moment BunnyGPT communicates in the main chat, but in the future, he may be able to talk to VIP users in IM as well. I’ll keep you posted!
