Johnny Liquid, my first friend in SL (he used to use the coolest John Lennon avatar back in 2007!) is having a festival at his club this weekend. “Three days of music that will span time and space!”
“Feel free to dress in psychedelic outfits or your best freaky threads! The music will be from many different decades and encompass many styles, but if you’d like to dress period, please do or come as you are,” Johnny said but then cautioned that the place is an adult club so there might be nudity or adult language too.
The UFO building in Second Life is based on the real-life British counter-culture nightclub from the 1960s, said to be London’s first club for psychedelic music. Pink Floyd got their start as the house band, and Jimi Hendrix is said to have played there.
